Dr Lauren Droney

Dr Lauren has been a Vet for more than 12 years. She has worked in rural mixed practice, in large Emergency Centres and as a relief Veterinarian all over Europe, before returning to Australia.

Dr Lauren is our Clinical Leader. Her vast experience and commitment to continuing education means she is our go to for any of our patients with more complex and emergent conditions. As the leading Surgeon at Vetcall Mudgeeraba, Dr Lauren provides mentorship to the rest of our team and often works collaboratively with a wider network of Specialist Surgeons.

Dr Lauren also has a special interest in medical imaging and has completed extensive professional development in this space. In 2021, we committed to a significant investment in some of the latest ultrasound equipment available in Veterinary medicine. With Dr Lauren’s skills, we can now provide the latest and most comprehensive diagnostic care for our patients on the spot without having to seek external referral.

When not in clinic –

Dr Lauren and her partner love to be at the beach or eating out and enjoying the Gold Coast foody scene. They share their home with Winnie the Spoodle puppy.
