The Vetcall group was established in 1976 and has since assisted thousands of local pets from puppy or kitten hood right through to their senior years. At Vetcall Mudgeeraba, we aim to provide a comprehensive, professional and compassionate veterinary service. We recognise the significance of your pets and the place they hold in your family. Our highly qualified team of Vets include Dr Mark Sulzberger, Dr Rick Evans, Dr Nathan Pitt and Dr Hannah Hamar, and they have special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dental care, and more. Our animal healthcare team will offer education, advice and care to ensure your pet has the longest, happiest and healthiest life possible.
Dr Mark Sulzberger graduated from the University of Queensland in 1992. He enjoys medicine and soft tissue surgery and spending time with all kinds of furry pets.
Mark has a Chocolate Labrador called Jobe. He has been animal crazy since he was a kid.
Dr Ric joined our team in September 2018. Ric graduated with his Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honors) degree at the University of Queensland in 1983. Dr Ric has a special interest in mixed animal practice, now being in a small animal practice he really enjoys medical cases.
Ric has three dogs at home who keep him busy when he is not at work. Herbert a Jack Russell, Corby the Kelpie and Nike who is a whippet. Dr Ric really enjoys playing golf and going out on his Jet Ski with Herbert in his free time
Hannah joined our team in December 2019 as a Vet Nurse and Vet Student. Hannah has recently graduated from University of Queensland with her Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honors). She graduated with great knowledge and workplace skills.
Hannah has a special interest in fostering kittens and re-homing them to their forever homes. She is currently managing our rehoming program with Happy Tails Rescue.
In her spare time Hannah spends time with her cat - Aspen, enjoys cooking and exploring the outdoors.
Grace has been part of the Vetcall team since January 2020. She has a passion for all animals great and small, riding horses and playing at the beach with Gretel her Dachshund in her spare time. Grace is one of our clinic receptionists. She completed her Certificate II in Animal Studies in 2015 and plans to begin her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing this year. You'll find Grace helping our clients and giving lots of cuddles to our furry friends.
Jes flew all the way from Argentina to start working with Vetcall in Burleigh in and then had the opportunity to work full-time at our clinic. Jes is very passionate about always providing the best care for our furry friends, Back home in Argentina she worked as a large animal veterinarian. In her spare time Jes loves going on hikes in our beautiful hinterlands and enjoying the beaches on her days off.
Sonita has relocated from the Sunshine Coast and joined our team in June 2020. In her spare time she enjoys taking long walks on the beach with her Golden Retriever Angus.
Sarah joined the team in September 2020 after relocating from Brisbane. She has been working as a Veterinary Nurse since graduating with a Cert IV in 2017. She has a beautiful German Short-Haired Pointer named Lulu who she absolutely adores. Sarah loves hands-on work and particularly enjoys dental & surgical cases.
Matthew joined the team in October 2019 as he started his Veterinary Nurse Studies through Tafe Gold Coast. Now Matthew has finished his studies he is working toward being a critical care nurse. Matt shows great attention to detail and cares for our patients in hospital as if they were his own.
He has a cavalier cross King Charles called Charlie and a Cat called Katie.
Lily completed her Certificate III in Animal Studies in 2020 and is currently studying a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. At the clinic, She loves to make sure all the patients are comfy and cozy. Lily also have an English Staffy at home called Shelby who She loves to take to the beach on weekends.
Yasmeen joined the Vetcall team in December 2020 as a trainee veterinary nurse. As Yasmeen is currently working towards completing her certificate IV, she takes great pride in her position as a vet nurse. Being a nurse to Yasmeen is not a career pathway but a lifelong passion that she’s always wanted to achieve. Yasmeen’s joy is Yogi her Maremma Sheepdog and Sethy her cat.
