Dr Louise Haynes

Dr Lou has been a Veterinarian for close to 10 years. Dr Lou has a special interest in pain management and palliative care. She believes in a holistic approach to managing chronic disease processes and end of life care. Dr Lou has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the therapeutic use of Cannabis based products for companion animals.

With a special affinity for her feline patients also, and an accomplished surgeon, Dr Lou is very sought after from cat lovers all over the Gold Coast. She is blessed to care for some of the loveliest clients who often refer her to friends and family specifically for her dedication, kindness and affinity with our feline patients. Dr Lou is committed to a fear-free, feline friendly approach and when not with her patients, can usually be found on the phone with specialist colleagues or busy researching the latest approaches and learning from the International Society of Feline Medicine.

When not in clinic –

Dr Lou and her husband love the Beach and spend many a holiday surfing across Bali. They share their home with “Alby” the Jack Russell Terrier.
